While we try to answer your queries wherever possible, we are largely a digital photographic archive and do not hold family records, for those we recommend using one of the many online ancestry services or the National Archives. For detailed local historical records you may like to try the Norfolk Record Office, your local library or the Heritage Library at Norwich Forum.
Donating images
If you are unable to visit one of our public sessions you may like to send or donate items to us via email at: fakenhamcommunityarchive@gmail.com When doing so, we will require your consent! so please remember to include this within your message.
How your donation may be used
Your consent allows us to archive and retain your donation together with any descriptive information, and to freely display your donations within the public domain. This may include;, public exhibitions, presentations, newspaper or printed media articles and electronic publication via ‘Fakenham and District Community Archive’s website and social media channels.
Unless specifically asked not to, we may also publish your name in acknowledgement of your donation, but will not disclose any personal details or pass these on to third parties. The right to have your personal details permanently deleted from our database will be complied with fully on request in accordance with the terms and conditions of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) 2018.

our public archive sessionsAll are welcome at our monthly archive sessions which are held in Fakenham Parish Church on the last Tuesday of each month from 2.00 to 4.00 pm.
At our monthly session you can watch a slide show or browse through our huge collection of photos on laptops and in albums and scrapbooks.
